Sacred Heart Parish Council "will assist the Pastor of this parish in the pursuit of his duties, both spiritual and temporal. The council meets every 3 months on the first Tuesday of the month. All women of the Parish are automatically members of CCW. President - Sandy Fischer, Vice-Pres - Jaeheane Lamm,  Treasurer- Terri Schaaf, Secretary - Teresa Seidel. CCW is active in various events in the parish such as funeral dinners, sacramental receptions, monetary support for seminarians and priests, nurs. home activities, CCD events.

DCCW's purpose is to support, empower, and educate all Catholic women in spirituality, leadership, and service, consistent with the teachings and tradition of the Catholic Church.

The women do service projects in the areas of church, family, international, community, legislation, and organization.

There are Councils Catholic Women at the parish, vicariate, diocesan, and national levels. The National Council of Catholic Women provides information on projects and activities that can be adapted for their parish and locality. Our parish representative is Fran Kaslon.

The purpose of this organization is to uphold the dignity and                                                  responsibility of women as wives and mothers and to assist                                            in the Christian formation of the minds and hearts of their children. Under the special patronage of Mary, the “Mother of Sorrows”, Christian Mothers are encouraged joyously to undertake the important task of training and sanctifying the young souls entrusted to their care. The Confraternity meets the first Sunday of the month after Mass for prayers.  Contact the church office for more information.

The Rosary Chain is a group of people who  pray for any special intentions of the parishioners of Sacred Heart Church.  Each person is assigned a prayer or prayers of the rosary and the Holy Mysteries.  Anyone on the chain may start the rosary by contacting the next person on the chain and they contact the next and so on.

Quite a large number of our group is on group texting so they do not have to contact the next person.

Please contact the church office if you'd like to join or if you have a prayer request.
